About the project
Zoem Zone Limburg (Buzz Zone Limburg) is a new five-year project by Natuur en Milieu Federatie Limburg (NMF Limburg), aimed at creating a province-wide network of habitats and food sources for pollinators. The project focuses on developing new habitats and enhancing connections between existing ones. Raising awareness about the crucial role pollinators play and the importance of biodiversity is also key to protecting these vulnerable species. I had the pleasure of working with the NMF Limburg team to design a brand identity for the project.
The design
Getting inspiration for this branding project was easy — the beautiful pollinators and plants of the province of Limburg are incredibly colorful! The logo is designed as a network of plants and pollinators, featuring two flowers native to the province, a bee or hoverfly, and a butterfly. Inspired by the logo, I created a seamless illustrated pattern, which is used in their marketing and communication materials.

In December 2024, we started developing a brand identity for the Zoem Zone Limburg project. We were highly impressed by Jantine's professionalism and the final result she delivered. Step by step, she guided us through the process, always paying close attention to our wishes. Communication with her was clear, prompt, and always personal. On top of that, Jantine was very flexible with her timelines. We needed certain products quickly, and without hesitation, she adjusted her schedule to make it happen.
