The brand is a combination of Kim’s approach and personal aesthetics: clean and minimal paired with playfulness and creativity. The logo can be used as a label, making sure it never clashes with the aesthetics in her client projects. The colour palette evolved from Kim’s personal favourite colour, olive green, and might have been inspired by her beautiful home as well… Hand-drawn elements give the identity a personal touch, which fits Kim’s way of working.
Kim has been working hard on her business since we launched the brand in 2020, and in 2022 we gave the brand a little update to fit her current goals and brand character. We expanded the colour palette with some warm accent colours, refined the logo and added more variety in the typographic style to expand Kim’s brand on social media.
Template design for presentation Kim uses for her client presentations.
Instagram is a great place for interior designers and to stay recognizable and close to her brand Kim and I worked on a set of social media templates. We started with sketching out what kind of templates Kim needed based on her content ideas. When we got everything covered with the updates I designed the templates in the new brand style, fully customizable in Canva. Kim’s been doing a great job using the templates, make sure to check out Kim's Instagram to see them in action!
Kim just launched her first e-book, filled with tips on how to turn your house into a home. After we wrapped up the brand update and social media templates we worked on a set of templates for this e-book. We decided to stick with the same process we used for the social media templates: sketching out template ideas based on the copy and turning them into fully customizable Canva templates. Kim really worked her magic into building the book with the templates, it looks great! Curious? You can find the e-book on Kim’s website.
